Meet the RoboRoos a Community Club - ROBOTS FOR ALL AGES!

The Student Robotics Club of South Australia Inc., also known as the RoboRoos, is a community Robotics club with many different programs designed for students from 5 years through university level to engage with STEAM opportunities and learning. We are a proudly volunteer-run organisation with students from all over South Australia.

Our club offers First Lego League (FLL), First Tech Challenge (FTC), First Robotics
Competition (FRC), RobotX, and School-Term STEAM projects, meaning there is something for everyone. We are excited to bring these experiences to ScienceAlive! to showcase our work.

We are gearing up to present FTC scrimmages from local teams, including two of our own, three from Murray Bridge High School, and a local family team, the Pop Ups. We want to encourage others to get involved in the fun and exciting world of robotics. We will have our FTC and FRC robots available for everyone to try their hand at driving. We will also have little robots for the younger kids to play soccer with.

As a community club dedicated to supporting the growth of other teams, we will offer FTC-style robot kits for attendees to build on the day or take home so that everyone can have their chance to try building.

Additionally, we will feature FLL and RobotX displays showcasing the incredible skills and designs our teams have developed. We are passionate about supporting communities around us and building teams to compete within the FIRST community. We are always on a mission to support
teams to continue to grow with our students and mentors, who regularly go and help
mentor them. We often put on displays at events such as Maker’s Space and have Children’s University tour our space to see what we do. We love to support schools in starting their teams, loaning out equipment, and running small scrimmages to keep students bonding and engaged. Teachers or Parents, WELCOME to chat with us about creating your OWN team!

We can't wait for you to join us at ScienceAlive! to experience the excitement of robotics and see firsthand the dedication and creativity of our RoboRoos teams.
